Funding and referral options
We welcome referrals for:

DVA clients, including eligible White Card and Gold Card holders

WorkCover participants across Queensland and New South Wales

Clients supported through private insurers
-
NDIS participants with plan-managed or self-managed funding
Please contact our administration team if you are unsure whether your referral or funding arrangement can be accepted.
GP Referral information -
Medical objects preferred - Provider numbers here. - Fax or email also accepted.
Direct referral available via healthshare.
To arrange an initial consultation with one of our psychiatrists, you will need a current referral from your General Practitioner (GP). This is to ensure you receive your Medicare rebate and provides safe and collaborative care.
Your GP can send through a Mental Health care plan to enable Medicare rebates for Psychologist appointments.

Please ask your GP to include your current telephone number and email address with the referral.
Once we receive your referral, our team will contact you to arrange the most appropriate appointment and guide you through the next steps.
Psychiatry Support is a private-billing practice. Please review our Services and Fees page for information about consultation fees and available Medicare rebates.
